Partial Transcript: Frank goes to Chicago to live with his sister. Frank meets his wife at Puyallup Assembly Center in 1942. She is a nurse, and he is an ambulance driver. Their relationship develops post-war. After nursing school at St. Francis in Illinois, she goes to Chicago. Frank and his wife reconnect in Chicago. When Frank is overseas, he corresponds with his wife and his family. Frank would keep the letters in his helmet. When Frank is wounded, he loses his correspondence and watches. However, he still has his pistol - browning automatic made in Belgium 9mm. Other souvenirs Frank collects from the war are a Mauser 98, watch, and German insignia patch.
